Madison Calma
Research Intern
Madison studies at the University of Washington, majoring in Business Administration and intending to minor in Environmental Studies. She is excited to gain hands-on experience interning for a company that combines both of her areas of interest.
Growing up in Lacey, WA, Madison was always surrounded by beautiful Evergreen trees and often witnessed the breathtaking view of Mt. Rainier from a distance when the skies were clear. Because of this environment, Madison loves the outdoors and hopes to preserve its natural beauty through her work now and in her future career.
In addition to interning at Strategic Nature, Madison is a research intern at the Nisqually Reach Nature Center for the 2023 summer season. She looks forward to building a community of people that share her passion for creating a brighter and more environmentally conscious future.
